Plantation Operating, LLC (PO, LLC) was chartered on November 4, 2005, as a Limited Liability Corporation, for the purpose of becoming the Operator of Record for all oil and gas assets owned by Plantation Petroleum Holdings III, LLC (PPH III, LLC). The officers and Directors of PO, LLC were the same as those of PPH III, LLC, the owner of the assets.

The assets of PPH III, LLC were sold in October of 2007, but PO, LLC continued as an Operator of Record in New Mexico and Texas. Immediately after the sale of PPH III, LLC, Plantation Petroleum Holdings IV, LLC (PPH IV, LLC) was formed. PPH III, LLC transferred the ownership of PO, LLC to PPH IV, LLC.

Currently, Plantation Operating, LLC is the Operator of Record for the assets of PPH IV, LLC in New Mexico, Texas and now, Louisiana.
